Scouting Report from 2007 Pro
Basketball Combine |
| Category |
Comments |
| Physical &
Mental |
Small frame but physically he is very
strong. In excellent condition. Must develop more of a point guard
mentality. |
| Ball Skills |
A good handle.
He takes care of the ball. He protects and distributes it well. |
| Offense |
He has a decent
shot, but his shot selection needs to be better. He has definite
three-point range. |
| Rebounding |
His small
stature hurts this part of his game. He tries, but hard to compete
against bigger players inside. |
| Defense |
Good on-ball
defender. He picks up well on the break. |
|
Game Knowledge |
His game
knowledge is good, but he tends to lose composure when he shoots too
much. Developing a better shot selection mentality should correct this. |
| Strengths |
Shooting, when
he is not forced, is excellent. His passing is very good. |
| Opportunities
for Improvement |
His shooting
range needs to be extended with more consistency. His understanding of
the proper shot selection needs to be developed. Stronger drive to the
basket. |
| Overall Comments |
He plays well and distributes
until he hits a couple of shots, and then seems to force the offense
rather than let it flow. |
