Good presence on the field. 1v1 defending is at a very good level. Has the tools to play at the next level. Needs to be a bit quicker with speed of play and more precise with distribution out of the back.

2009: Starter for all 17 games he played, Moroney earned a grand total of seven points, a combination of two goals and three assists... out of 20 shots he made, 11 shots were on goal

2008: Maroney was a second team All-Conference selection and was a constant presence in the Vikings defense and midfield starting in all of the team's 20 matches... finished the season with a total of 17 shots, eight shots on goal, and one goal in the match against Reinhardt (10/22)...he was selected to the SSAC All-Academic Team

2007: Started in all 18 games as a freshman... was part of a Berry back line that allowed only 20 goals all season... also adept at getting forward, he finished the season with a goal and two assists to his credit... his last assist was in the game against Missouri Valley College(10/14)

Starr's Mill High School ... served as the team captain his senior year and was selected for the all-region, all-county, and all-area teams... competed for the Capital City Streaks in Montgomery, Ala. for two years... played for the AFC Lightning '89 Premier team from 2004-2007, where they were the fall 2005 Classic 1 Champions and in 2006 played in the Region III Premier League
