Scouting Report from 2003 InfoSport Pro Basketball Combine

Physical & Mental: IMPACT PLAYER! Physically tough. Aggressive player with and without the ball. Can handle physical play and uses her body well in the paint.  MENTALLY TOUGH. Very intense player and can handle the pressure.

Ball Skills:  Power player. In the post, she is excellent. She protects the ball in traffic and has a good handle for that position.  On the perimeter, she is an average ball handler.  She can handle it in the open court and in an isolation setting versus the defense.

Offense:  Very strong offensive player. IMPACT PLAYER. Has a SCORER'S MENTALITY and can finish in the paint. Very confident. Can hit three-pointers in transition. Can play the hi or lo post effectively.

Rebounding:  Strong.  Moves well to get position and holds the block. Very aggressive and really goes after the ball.

Defense:  Solid defensive player. Very vocal, aggressive and smart.  Aware of help side defense and does not foul unnecessarily.  Will always secure the backside rebound and fronts the post well.

Game Knowledge:  Adjusts well to game situations. Smart player. Needs work on reading double teams in the low post. Reads defenses well without the ball and can move to get open versus the man or zone defense. Very active away from the ball on both offense and defense.

Strengths:  Body type. Strong & physical player yet quick and has good footwork. Is a leaper on the floor and communicates well with teammates and coaches. A definite impact player.

Opportunities for Improvement:  Could become a little more consistent from the guard spot, shooting the three-pointer in the half-court set off screens and off the dribble (pull-up jumper).

Overall Comments:  Great teammate. Enthusiastic, positive and intense. Very coachable and handles criticism well.  Ready for the next level now, and the sky could be the limit for her.
