Physical & Mental: Very strong upper body.

 

Ball Skills: Not bad for a big man. Can handle the ball.

 

Offense: Has good foot work in the post. Can score inside. Can hit from the arc too.

 

Rebounding: Good, but could be stronger.

 

Defense: Good. Needs to be able to drop off and help.


Game Knowledge: Understands the game

 

Strengths: Passes well out of the double team. Sees the floor extremely well.

 

Opportunities for Improvement: Needs to get in better shape physically so fatigue is not an issue.  Needs to be able to take the bumps and bruises inside for an entire game.

 

Overall Comments: Very positive attitude. Wants to improve and can definitely help a lower level European team now.

He averaged 2.5 rebounds and 3.3 points.  He recorded 53 assists, 12 blocks and 29 steals.  2002-03: As a senior, played in 27 games, averaging 11.2 minutes.  Shot 50.8% from the field, .33.3% from three point range and 53.3% from the line.  Averaged 2.3 rebounds and 2.9 points. 2001-02: Second on the team in free-throw accuracy (19-26, 73.1 percent) ... tied his career high of five field goals made vs. Bellarmine (Jan. 10) ... was 4-4 from the field overall, 1-1 from 3-point range and 4-4 from the free-throw line in scoring a season-high 13 points vs. Southern Indiana (Feb. 9) ... had 10 points (5-6 from the field) and a season-high seven rebounds vs. Bellarmine (Jan. 10) ... other season highs were two assists vs. Wisconsin-Parkside (GLVC Tournament, March 1), one blocked shot vs. Indianapolis (Jan. 5), one steal vs. seven opponents, six field-goal attempts vs. Bellarmine (Jan. 10), one 3-point field goal made and one 3-point field-goal attempt vs. Southern Indiana (Feb. 9), four free throws made vs. Southern Indiana (Feb. 9) and Indianapolis (Jan. 5), and four free-throw attempts vs. Hillsdale (NCAA Tournament, March 7), Southern Indiana (Feb. 9) and Indianapolis (Jan. 5) ... scored eight points and grabbed five rebounds vs. Indianapolis (Jan. 5) ... had three offensive rebounds vs. Quincy (Feb. 14) ... played in 13 GLVC games, averaging 3.8 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 56.7 percent (17-30) from the field and 83.3 percent (15-18) from the free-throw line. 2000-01: One of only four Flyers to play in every game ... started the first six games of the season ... third on the team in field-goal percentage and offensive rebounds (33) ... fourth on the team in total rebounds, rebounding average, offensive rebounding average (1.22 per game) and fewest turnovers per 40 minutes (2.41) ... fifth on the team in blocked shots ... was 5-5 from the field vs. Northern Kentucky, making him the only Flyer to be perfect from the field with at least five attempts in any game all season ... that performance included a 3-3 effort from 3-point range ... led the team with a career-high 16 points vs. Wisconsin-Parkside ... led the team in rebounding four times, including his career high of 11 boards vs. Rockhurst ... scored in double figures five times ... had five offensive rebounds vs. Wisconsin-Parkside and Rockhurst ... played in 20 GLVC games and started two, averaging 5.2 points and 3.5 rebounds. 1999-2000: Played a key role in the Flyers’ win at Bellarmine, collecting season highs of six points, eight rebounds and three assists ... played a season-high 18 minutes in that game and also two nights later at Kentucky Wesleyan ... tallied four points and three rebounds, all in the second half, in a victory at Missouri-St. Louis ... played in 11 GLVC games and averaged 1.1 points and 1.2 rebounds. High School: Lettered three years at Seneca ... as a senior, was an all conference performer and was named to the all-area first team by the Ottawa Daily Times and the Joliet Herald News ... selected to the all-tournament team at the Lemont Christmas Classic and the Hall Red Devil Christmas Classic, and named Athlete of the Week by the Daily Times that year ... averaged 19.1 points and 10.8 rebounds, and shot 72.8 percent from the free-throw line to help lead the team to a 19-6 record and runner-up conference finish ... all-conference and Daily Times and Herald News all-area first team as a junior, averaging 14.4 points and 9.7 rebounds as Seneca had an 18-7 record ... Daily Times all-area honorable mention as a sophomore ... lettered two years in golf and also competed in baseball and football.
