Scouting Report from 2003 InfoSport Pro Basketball Combine

Physical & Mental: A really solid 6-5 guard with Pro Experience. Long arms, in good condition physically. Mentally, very mature. Like having a coach on the floor. A real leader. Excellent vision and court awareness.

Ball Skills: Very solid. Does not do anything flashy but gets it done. Does not turn the

ball over. Can play the 1 or 2 guard positions. Tall enough to play the 3 too. Does not make mistakes very often.

Offense: Able to create his own shot. Excellent two-dribble pull up from 18 feet and in.  Didn't shoot a lot of three-pointers but made those he took. Ability to take defender off the dribble and finish in traffic.

Rebounding: Great rebounder from the guard position. has an ability to get the ball out of a crowd,  Good on both ends of the floor.

Defense: Good defender. Plays passing lanes very well. For a tall guard, he holds his own against smaller, quicker guards. He is a smart defender.

Game Knowledge: Like a coach on the floor. A team leader. He makes sure everyone on his team understands situations.

Strengths: Experienced guard in the pro game. Big guard who can score and defend. Knows how to control the tempo of a game. Good rebounder. Nice medium range jump shot.

Opportunities for Improvement: Not many, but he could shoot more often from three-point range (?)

Overall Comments: "If I was a coach, I would want him on my team" - John Doman, InfoSport Staff/USBL Scout.  A smart, tall guard who can defend and score. Not going to make many mistakes.
