Collegiate Soccer
Career: Head Coach:

Spent two years at Concordia University
(Portland) under Coach Dan Birkey. Freshman Year- Started 18 out of
21 games at either outside-mid or center-mid, had three goals and
six assists which helped earn a Second Team
All-Conference selection, helped team win its third straight
conference title and regional tournament birth... Sophomore Year-
Was injured in first game of season which caused the absence of
eight games all season due to the injury (not all consecutively).
Despite that, was second on team in points with 19 in 15 games
played. Second on team in goals with six, also had seven
assists. Earned Second Team All-Conference for second straight
year. Had three post season games after fully recovering from
injury, led team with two post-season goals... San Jose State
University (2003-2005) - Junior Year- Returned from
Bolivia and attended San Jose State University. Was the
starting sweeper and was one of two players to start and play every
minute of every game. Anchored a defense that helped team win
our conference outright and conference tournament which advanced
team into the NCAA playoffs. Scored two goals and had two assists on
the season. Was given "Defensive MVP" honors for that year.
Senior Year- Again was one of two players to start and play every
minute of every game, the only one to do so two years in a row.
Had two assists on the year. Was named to the Santa Clara
University Invitational All-Tournament team. Was again honored
with "Defensive MVP". |

Miscellaneous
Soccer Notes:
Attended Sheldon High School
all four years, was three year letter winner for Coach Mac Wilson.
Led team to three state playoff births, two Midwestern League
second place finishes, and helped team advance farther in state
tournament than any other Sheldon team previously had. Was
second in points during junior and senior year. Led team in
assists with 12 as senior, also added 9 goals. Awards: All-Midwestern
league Honorable mention as sophomore Second team as junior. First
team as senior, was voted team MVP and Captain senior year.
All-state member senior year as well. Club Ball
(1996-2000) Played for McKenzie United Soccer Academy (Now
Oregon United) under Coaches Steven Studly and Steve Elliot (U. Of
Portland Soccer Alumni). Helped team to two state finals
including one championship, one regional tournament birth. Club
team's highest achievements were winning the Celtic Cup (San Diego)
and a semi-final overtime loss at the Nomads Tournament (San Diego) in
2000... Tahuichi Academy of Soccer- Santa Cruz, Bolivia Was in
Santa Cruz June through September and part of October, 2002.
Trained with the Tahuichi Academy of soccer. Set three
separate records during the running stages. Split most of
the time playing Center Mid and Forward but also saw some time
in the sweeper position. Was honored with the 2002
Tahuichi Outstanding Player award. Was the 61st player accepted
into the Masters Program at Tahuichi where he was given the
opportunity to play with Tahuichi's top team, the Callejas.
