Great shape physically. Great mental attitude. Never stopped playing hard until the final buzzer.

Ball Skills Good handles, and uses both hands well. Can get to the basket from either side.
Offense

Has excellent range. Came off screens very well.

Rebounding Blocked out well when called to rebound. Played hard around the boards.
Defense Played great on the ball defense. Moved feet. Rarely beat off the dribble. Could work a little more on off the ball defense. Always there to help on drives to the basket.

Goren was a four year starting point guard for Carnegie Mellon University. He finished his career in the top twenty in scoring, first in steals, and second in assists in school history. Senior year, was selected First-Team All-American by the Jewish Sports Review, named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Academic Team, and was selected to the Academic All-Conference Recognition Team. Averaged 9.2 points, 4.8 assists (second in conference), 1.8 steals (first in conference).
