Scouting Report from 2003 InfoSport Pro Basketball Combine

Physical & Mental:  Good athlete. Likes to push the ball up the floor. Sometimes, plays out of control. Mentally, he gets down on himself too much when he misses a shot or make a mistake. Needs to be tougher mentally.

Ball Skills: Average. Needs work on handling in traffic.

Offense: Rushed too many shots. Showed he could hit the three-pointer, but not consistently. Forced too many bad shots. His selection needs to improve dramatically. Many times he would shoot the three from anywhere on the break. Very streaky shooter.  Takes more of his perimeter shots from the top of the key.

Rebounding: Good from the guard position.

Defense: Works very hard. Better defensive player than offensive.

Game Knowledge: Made questionable decisions. Lacks good coaching and teaching of fundamentals.

Strengths: Good defender, and rebounder from the guard position. Athletic skills.

Opportunities for Improvement:  Needs to shoot more consistently and make better decisions with and without the basketball.  Needs develop more point guard skills for his size.  Was in good physical condition. Fatigue was not a factor.
