Physical & Mental: Very strong and physical. Good
stamina and conditioning. Runs the floor very well. Even
when fatigued or in discomfort, she showed mental toughness and
played through.
Ball Skills: Decent ball handling skills for her size and
position. She can get by in a half-court set as well as the open
court. She tends to struggle when handling the ball against
pressure.
Offense: Good post player. Uses her body well. Needs to
protect the shot to give herself an opportunity to finish with
contact. A solid threat within 15 feet. Could extend her range
to be more of a threat offensively. Does a good job on
penetration.
Rebounding: Great rebounder on both ends of the floor.
Reads the ball well off the rim. Gets herself in good position
to rebound and to be able to do something with the ball once she
secures it.
Defense: Good defender in the post. Does a good job of
keeping the offensive player in front of her. Is at a slight
disadvantage when defending out on the perimeter. Good defender
off the ball in help. Good shot blocker.
Game Knowledge: Good. Understands a variety of offensive
and defensive sets. Reads the defense well. Knows when to shoot
or penetrate and pass.
Strengths: Rebounding. Ability to use her body and post-up.
Smarts/Knowledge of the game. Enthusiasm. Work ethic.
Opportunities for
Improvement: Shooting range.
Ball handling under pressure.
Overall Comments: Very
local leader. Great leadership skills and interaction with
teammates. Very coachable. Does not show frustration often.
Continues to play through. Adapts quickly to changes.
Wants to improve, and never gives up. Ready to play at a
mid-range European level NOW and will most certainly improve
with more experience at the pro level.
