Co-recipient of the Most Valuable Player Award. Also the recipient of
the Crusader Award. D3hoops.com third-team All-Midwest Region...Clarke
College Holiday Basketball Tournament Leadership Award...NIIC Player of
the Week for the period ending Jan. 30 when the Crusaders downed Eureka
and Aurora to move into first place in the conference race...averaged 23
points and nine rebounds for the week...NIIC Player of the Week for the
period ending Nov. 28 when he led Clarke to a 3-0 record, averaging 20.7
points and 7.7 rebounds per game...shot 60.6 percent from the field,
45.5 percent from beyond the three-point arc and 89.5 percent from the
charity stripe in the three victories.
2003-04 (Junior): Honorable mention
All-Conference selection...NIIC Player of the Week for the period ending
January 5...named the co-recipient of the team's Newcomer Award and
Crusader Award...started 21 games…appeared in all 27 games…ranked fourth
in NIIC scoring (15.7 ppg) and fifth in conference rebounding (7.2 ppg)…led
the Crusaders in rebounds (190), rebounds per game (7.0) and free throws
made (103)…ranked second in both scoring (17.3 ppg) and field goals made
(171)…shot 75.2 percent (103-137) from the free throw line…hit 12 of 15
shots from the field en route to a career-high 31 points against Loras
on 11/28/03…pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds against Aurora on
2/25/04 and Siena Heights on 12/29/03. |
