Scouting Report from 2006 Pro
Basketball Combine |
| Category |
Comments |
| Physical &
Mental |
Very strong in the post. Tough player.
Plays through fouls. |
| Ball Skills |
OK. Can handle
the ball if forced to make a move. Handles very well in transition. Very
good passer. Handles well with both hands. |
| Offense |
Post moves were
outstanding in the beginning, but settled for mid range jumpers once
fatigue set in. Very good mid range jumper, however and excellent
three-point range. Goes to the goal strong when not fatigued. Very good
footwork. |
| Rebounding |
Very aggressive.
Finds opponent quickly for block out. When tired, tends to become
passive. |
| Defense |
Solid post
defender against similar height opponent, but trouble with players over
6-2. Too slow to guard against quicker 2s and 3s. |
|
Game Knowledge |
Very good and
displays effective leadership. Fundamentally sound before fatigue set
in. |
| Strengths |
Post moves and
footwork were excellent. Good court vision. Has the potential to
dominate early. |
| Opportunities
for Improvement |
Quickness speed
training would definitely bring out her full potential. Taking better
cut off angles would compensate for lack of speed. Get in shape and game
will really elevate for a full 4 quarters! |
| Overall Comments |
Very consistent mid range
shooter. Has good pro potential in the right situation playing a 3/4
combo and some 5 if necessary. Speed training could make her a real
go-to player. Great team player and leadership. |
