Scouting Report from 2003 InfoSport Pro Basketball Combine

Physical & Mental:  Body frame is small and light weight. Plays hard and hustles on the floor. Needs more speed to be a point guard.

Ball Skills: Handles the ball ok in the open court. Has trouble in a crowd. Does not know how to dribble out of trouble. Pushes the ball up the floor on the break. Her handles can be out of control at times. Passing skills need work.

Offense: Not very offensively-minded. Likes to penetrate and kick. Causes too many turnovers. Gets herself in trouble in a crowd. Her passes are deflected a lot. Can shoot the "3". Could look to score more often. Shooting range is limited and has a tough time finishing. Can not create a shot off the dribble.

Rebounding:  Will get in the paint and mix it up, but pulls the long rebounds only, if lucky. Not much of a vertical.

Defense:  Hustles and applies good on-ball pressure. Has a tendency to get lost on help-side defense. Lateral foot speed is good.

Game Knowledge:  Able to adapt to coaching changes immediately. Recognizes defensive sets to set up offense. Overall court awareness is questionable. Is vocal with teammates, and has point guard mentality in that sense.

Strengths:  Solid work ethic. Hustles. Good on-ball defensive pressure. Very vocal on the floor.

Opportunities for Improvement:  Needs to work on getting a shooting rhythm and then looking for her shot. Needs to make better decisions with the ball. Overall handles need to improve. Did not show any skills to be considered a shooting guard.

Overall Comments: Very coachable. Works well with teammates. Great attitude. Tries to be a leader. Good role player.
