Junior (2002-03):
As a
tri-captain, played in all 28 games, while making 20 starts, including
every ACC contest ... posted career highs in field goals made, three-ptrs.
made, rebounds, blocks and steals this season ... was a dependable
leader on the court at both the point and guard positions ... a
consistent free throw shooter, 73 percent on the season ... third on the
squad in field goal percentage at 42.9 percent (45-105) ... shot nearly
50 percent in ACC games only (27-56, 48.2 pct.) ... second on the team
in assists with 72 ... team voted Preseason award, Best Team Supporter
For A Starter, 110% Effort Award and Off-season Award -given by the
Strength and Conditioning Staff ... Rex Hospital Player of the Game vs.
Wake Forest.
Sophomore (2001-02):
Played in all 27 games this season, earning 26 starts at the point guard
slot ... Leads the Wolfpack with 109 assists on the year ... Tops the
team with 34 steals this season ... Averages a team-best 78.3 percent
from the free throw line ... Ranks second on the squad in field goal
percentage, averaging 45.9 percent from the floor ... Scored in
double-figures in three consecutive ACC contests, including a
career-high 14 point, eight rebound effort at Virginia ... Dished out a
career best 11 assists, two shy of the single game school record, versus
Wake Forest.
Freshman (2000-02):Played
in 30 games in her rookie season at NC State averaging 11 minutes per
outing, providing relief at point guard...Was named to the GlaxoWellcome
all-tournament team on Nov. 19 after contributing 16 points, four
rebounds and four assists in games against Elon and Oregon...Had a
career night versus Virginia on Jan. 2, posting career highs of 13
points, five rebounds and four assists...Also dished out four assists at
Florida State on Dec. 30...Recorded 39 assists for the year. |
