Attended North Central Missouri
College prior to Avila. Led NJCAA in FG percentage as a freshman.
Was named all-region as a sophomore. Was first-team all-Heart of
America Athletic conference and honorable mention all-American as a
junior. Named third team all-conference as a senior. In 2002-03, led the
conference in scoring with a 16.5 point-per-game average. His 6.4
rebounds was 11th best in the conference. He shot 57.7% from the field
(3rd best in conference). |
