Team Reebok: 2005 Women's Squad

InfoSport's 2005 women's exhibition travel
squad, Team Reebok, has finalized its 2005 game
schedule.
The 2005 game schedule is:
November 5: University of Central Florida
November 8: Armstrong Atlantic
November 9: Georgia Southern University
Team
Reebok 2005 will consist of 7-9 players, selected primarily from the
2005 InfoSport Pro Basketball Combine. The common denominator of
all these ladies
is their aspiration to play professional basketball and their
selection by the InfoSport staff to be invited to participate based
upon their combine performance. With that
in mind, our purpose will be to assimilate the pro game as much as
feasible, all in a professional, business-like fashion.
* A demanding travel schedule
* Utilize multiple offenses and changing defenses to bring out their
versatility and ability to adjust
* When pressing, though the college game has no backcourt
restriction, we will play with every effort to keep our opponents to 8
seconds
* Utilizing the philosophy of role players, whereby each player's role could
change from game to game
* Emphasis on body language as in Europe they will often face a
language barrier with opponents, officials and coaches
We will have a media guide which includes background information as
well as player profiles from the 2005 combine. Upon completion
of our tour, updated profiles
will be available, inclusive of the individual
players' readiness to play professionally.
Three of the 9 members of our 2004 Team
Reebok squad signed professional contracts in the past year.
